This appointment provides an initial clinical evaluation to help determine if cranial remolding therapy may be appropriate for your baby.
During the telehealth visit, our cranial specialist will visually assess your baby’s head shape for asymmetry and evaluate for any neck tightness (torticollis) or positional preferences that may be contributing factors. Based on your concerns and observations, we will discuss preliminary findings and determine next steps for care.
You will also receive education on repositioning techniques and gentle stretching exercises you can begin at home to help support healthy head shape development.

Cost: $50 (The cost will be applied toward treatment if helmet therapy is needed)
In-Person Consultations:
Receive a comprehensive, hands-on evaluation of your baby’s head shape with our cranial specialist. This visit includes a detailed visual assessment to check for asymmetry, neck tightness (torticollis), and positional preferences that may be contributing to head shape changes.
A non-invasive 3D cranial scan will be completed to capture precise measurements and objective data used to assess severity and determine whether cranial remolding helmet therapy is recommended.
You will also receive personalized guidance and in-person instruction on repositioning techniques and stretching exercises to support your baby’s development at home.

Cranial Remolding
Therapy:
This treatment includes all of the objectives outlined in our evaluation process, along with the fabrication and use of a custom cranial remolding helmet designed specifically for your baby’s head shape.
Each helmet is individually created using precise 3D scan measurements to gently guide growth and improve symmetry over time. Treatment includes ongoing monitoring, regular adjustments, and progress tracking to ensure optimal results throughout the correction period.
Families also receive continued support, including guidance on wear schedule, care instructions, and at-home positioning strategies to maximize effectiveness and support healthy development.
